In an effort to keep our raid roster around 35 players, an attendance policy is being implemented, effective immediately.

A few of our players have confused the meaning of "casual raid schedule".  The schedule is casual only because we raid three nights a week vs. five or seven, not casual in how frequently a player decides to show up.

No matter how great the player is, if the player only attends five raids in the course of a month that player isn't much help to the progression of the guild.  We need consistent players.

The attendance policy is such that each player is expected to have a 75% per 30 days raid attendance.  If you drop below 75% attendance in the course of two 30 day periods, consecutively, you will be demoted from raider status and put back on a trial period.

If you have not resolved the issue by the end of a 90 day period you will be promoted to friend status.  You will not be kicked from the guild, but you won’t get priority on a raid spot and we may recruit to fill your spot.

Real life happens. We are not saying you have to give up on living.  A 75% attendance allows for three missed raids in a 30 day period.  Posting that you will be absent does not excuse your absence; it is simply a common courtesy to the other raiders.

If you have vacations, business trips, school exams or family commitments that will bring you below the 75% just let us know as soon as you can.  There will be "excused" absenses that will not result in being placed at trial or friend status if we know what is happening.

If you have any questions please direct them to myself or any other officer.
